Yang Wang – As a Piano Instructor with extensive teaching experience. He graduating from Shenyang Conservatory of Music with a major in piano performance, he founded Melody Music School in 2016. Over the past 15 years, he has not only nurtured numerous music students but also ensured that each student achieves a 100% pass rate in the ABRSM exams, with many students achieving high scores. Teacher Yang is member of Music Teacher National Association and Washington State Music Teacher National Association. Mr. Wang encourages students to participate in competitions, with many receiving honors such as gold, silver, and bronze awards. His unique teaching style is highly favored by students. In addition to piano teaching, he is also proficient in music production and improvisation, particularly excelling in popular music. He has been invited multiple times to serve as a judge for vocal and piano competitions.
Corvin – As a Guitar/Drum instructor, he is a beloved professional lead guitarist who has been teaching guitar and drums at Melody Music School since 2017. He is known for his enthusiastic, outgoing, and lively personality, and has been repeatedly voted as the favorite teacher by students. Corvin is passionate about teaching and is renowned for his patience and ability to communicate effectively with children, making learning music an enjoyable experience while ensuring continuous progress.

Sisi Ye as Piano Instructor – A native of China, Sisi graduated with a Music Education Bachelors Degree from Shenyang Conservatory of Music, China, and received Teacher qualification certification in 2007. After arriving in United States in 2008, Sisi received her Master’s degree in piano performance and pedagogy from University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where awarded graduate assistantship, she taught piano group and individual piano lessons for School of Music and Performing Arts. Sisi was a member of Louisiana Music Teachers Association, and anticipated the Louisiana music teacher association young artist competition in 2010 and 2011. She won the first prize of Frank Hanley piano competition in 2010, and the second prize in 2011; Third prize of Student chapter of MTNA (Music Teacher National Association) chamber music competition.

Dr. Qi Jingjing as Vocal Instructor – taught at the Experimental High School in Beijing, China for eight years. After obtaining bachelor’s degrees in music and English and a master’s degree in vocal music at Beijing Normal (teaching) University, she taught regular classes, choirs, and tutored students individually. The boys’ choir included students from 10-12th grades and the retired teachers’ chorus included singers in their 80s. The retired teachers’ chorus performed regularly but was non-competitive, while the boys’ choir won several prestigious competitions.
Jingjing spent the past three years earning her Doctorate in Musical Arts (DMA) at the University of Washington. Although a specialist in operatic bel canto singing, Jingjing can sing in other styles, such as art songs and folk music, and teach students to sing in those styles.
Jiayi Zhen as Piano Instructor – earned Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance at Shenzhen University in China. Her performance experience includes concerts and music classes. Miss Zhen start to learned piano when she was 6 and passed Grade 10 level when she was 15 years old. In 2016 Miss Zhen passed Dr. Neos professional piano training class. From 2016-2021, she taught private piano class and music theory class at Arts School in China. She also studied with many outstanding pianists: She is good at playing Baroque, Classical and Romantic works with infectious performance, and her playing technique is proficient.

Qi Shi – As Piano Instructor, she holds a Master’s Degree in Music Education from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University. She is certified in Music (K–12) in Washington State, and also holds the China National Teacher Certificate in Music.
Currently serving as Music Director at Kettleworks Performing Arts, Qi leads young performers aged 8–16 and guided her team to win the “Excellence in Music” Award at the Junior Theater Festival 2024. She previously taught at Zhejiang Yiwu Foreign Language School and Sunny Language Academy, where she instructed piano, vocal, and general music courses.
Qi’s teaching experience extends beyond the classroom—she completed internships at Mayfield Woods Middle School and Centennial High School, where she taught choir, music theory, and general music, integrating music psychology and educational research into her practical teaching.
Dr. Lucy Lu – As a Piano Instructor. began piano studies under Professor Haibo Wang at Beijing Normal University. She holds a Master’s in Piano Performance from Syracuse University (full scholarship, with Steinway Artist Steven Heyman), and a Master’s in Collaborative Piano from Arizona State University (with Andrew Campbell). She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Collaborative Piano at the University of Southern Mississippi with a full assistantship, studying under Michael Bunchman.
Lucy has over 15 years of teaching experience, with expertise in exam preparation (100% pass rate) and working with students of all ages and abilities—including children with autism and seniors with Alzheimer’s. In the U.S., she performs regularly in vocal, instrumental, chamber, opera, and musical theatre productions.

Cong Li is a versatile pianist with experience as a soloist, chamber musician, and collaborative artist. She has performed with the Skidmore College Orchestra and is known for her expressive playing and strong ensemble skills.
She holds Master’s degrees in Collaborative Piano from the Boston Conservatory and in Music Education from Columbia University, blending performance and teaching expertise.
Cong is passionate about music education and often performs for young audiences, helping children discover the joy of classical music through interactive recitals and engaging mini-lectures.

Seong Kim – As Flute Instructor She is a classically trained flutist with years of performance and teaching experience. She graduated from the New England Conservatory on scholarship, where she studied with Fenwick Smith.
She has performed with top youth orchestras, toured internationally, and played in masterclasses with world-renowned flutists like James Galway and Julius Baker.
As a teacher, Seong is patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping each student build confidence and enjoy making music.

Yan Han – As Flute Instructor has over six years of teaching experience and a warm, patient teaching style that helps students feel confident and inspired. She holds a Master’s degree from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan and has performed in concerts both in China and abroad.
In her lessons, she focuses on building strong fundamentals while keeping learning fun and engaging. She tailors her approach to each student’s personality and pace, helping them grow step by step and truly enjoy playing the flute.
Kane – As Piano Instructor, is a concert pianist and dedicated teacher with international training in China, Australia, and the U.S. He holds a Master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Washington with a full scholarship. With over six years of teaching experience, Kane has guided students to achieve top results in ABRSM exams, as well as success in competitions. He is passionate about helping students build solid technique while developing musical expression and confidence.

Haikuo Huang – as Piano Instructor he is a doctoral piano student at the University of Washington, previously studied at the Manhattan School of Music with a scholarship. He graduated top of his class from the Shenyang Conservatory of Music.
Mr. Huang has extensive teaching experience in both China and the U.S., having taught at several music schools and studios. His students have won prizes in major competitions such as Steinway, Yamaha, and international events in France and Germany. Many have passed ABRSM exams with distinction and been admitted to top conservatories, including the Central Conservatory of Music and Zhejiang Conservatory.
His teaching is known for being structured, inspiring, and student-centered—focusing on strong technique, musical expression, and performance confidence. He works with students of all levels, from beginners to advanced, whether for competition, exams, or personal enrichment.

Xinyi Liu – as Flute Instructor is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of Washington School of Music under Professor Donna Shin, with full scholarship and a teaching assistantship. She holds a Master’s degree from Manhattan School of Music, where she studied with Linda Chesis, and a Bachelor’s degree from the China Conservatory of Music, studying under Professor Chen Zhaorong.
With several years of teaching experience in both the U.S. and China, Xinyi is skilled at tailoring lessons to individual students, focusing on solid technique and musical expression. She has guided many students to win prizes in flute and wind instrument competitions and successfully pass professional exams and conservatory auditions.
As an active performer, she has participated in numerous orchestral and chamber music performances, bringing rich stage experience to her teaching.
