Yang Wang – As a Piano Instructor with extensive teaching experience. He graduating from Shenyang Conservatory of Music with a major in piano performance, he founded Melody Music School in 2016. Over the past 15 years, he has not only nurtured numerous music students but also ensured that each student achieves a 100% pass rate in the ABRSM exams, with many students achieving high scores. Teacher Yang is member of Music Teacher National Association and Washington State Music Teacher National Association. Mr. Wang encourages students to participate in competitions, with many receiving honors such as gold, silver, and bronze awards. His unique teaching style is highly favored by students. In addition to piano teaching, he is also proficient in music production and improvisation, particularly excelling in popular music. He has been invited multiple times to serve as a judge for vocal and piano competitions.

Corvin

Corvin – As a Guitar/Drum instructor, he is a beloved professional lead guitarist who has been teaching guitar and drums at Melody Music School since 2017. He is known for his enthusiastic, outgoing, and lively personality, and has been repeatedly voted as the favorite teacher by students. Corvin is passionate about teaching and is renowned for his patience and ability to communicate effectively with children, making learning music an enjoyable experience while ensuring continuous progress.

Sisi Ye

Sisi Ye as Piano Instructor – A native of China, Sisi graduated with a Music Education Bachelors Degree from Shenyang Conservatory of Music, China, and received Teacher qualification certification in 2007.  After arriving in United States in 2008, Sisi received her Master’s degree in piano performance and pedagogy from University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where awarded graduate assistantship, she taught piano group and individual piano lessons for School of Music and Performing Arts. Sisi was a member of Louisiana Music Teachers Association, and anticipated the Louisiana music teacher association young artist competition in 2010 and 2011. She won the first prize of Frank Hanley piano competition in 2010, and the second prize in 2011; Third prize of Student chapter of MTNA (Music Teacher National Association) chamber music competition.

JingJing Qi

Dr. Qi Jingjing as Vocal Instructor – taught at the Experimental High School in Beijing, China for eight years. After obtaining bachelor’s degrees in music and English and a master’s degree in vocal music at Beijing Normal (teaching) University, she taught regular classes, choirs, and tutored students individually. The boys’ choir included students from 10-12th grades and the retired teachers’ chorus included singers in their 80s. The retired teachers’ chorus performed regularly but was non-competitive, while the boys’ choir won several prestigious competitions.

Jingjing spent the past three years earning her Doctorate in Musical Arts (DMA) at the University of Washington. Although a specialist in operatic bel canto singing, Jingjing can sing in other styles, such as art songs and folk music, and teach students to sing in those styles.

Jiayi Zhen

Jiayi Zhen as Piano Instructor – earned Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance at Shenzhen University in China. Her performance experience includes concerts and music classes. Miss Zhen start to learned piano when she was 6 and passed Grade 10 level when she was 15 years old. In 2016 Miss Zhen passed Dr. Neos professional piano training class. From 2016-2021, she taught private piano class and music theory class at Arts School in China. She also studied with many outstanding pianists: She is good at playing Baroque, Classical and Romantic works with infectious performance, and her playing technique is proficient.

Qing Yu as Piano Instructor- earned Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance at Northeastern University in China.
She Studied piano at 5, In 2006, She was admitted 10th Grade piano Certificate to Central Conservatory of Music. She has solid basic skills and music theory. In 2011, She was admitted to Northeastern University with the 1st place in the Art Examination of Liaoning Province and Continued to study piano.

During this period, she won the Gold medal in ” 2011 Asia Art Ceremony Chinese Youth Art Festival ” Liaoning Piano Completion, The first prize of the 4th ” China – Japan – Korea International Youth Art Exhibition
She has been engaged in the piano education industry in China and The United States for 7 years and has rich educational experience in the piano enlightenment of children.
She has a passion for teaching and sharing what her considers the best gift anyone can receive. Music!

Betty Gao as Vocal Instructor – eared master degreen in Music Vocal Performance from Longy School of Music of Bard College. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Vocal Studies at the University of Washington. She previously worked as a vocal instructor at Elementary School Music Teacher at Beijing City Fifth Social Welfare Institute and taught at Beijing Experimental School Affiliated with China Conservatory of Music. Over the past decade, she has dedicated herself to researching teaching methodologies for children, popular music, and classical voice, creating her own unique teaching approach. Presently, she accepts vocal students as young as 6 years old.

Tianyuan Hao – As a Vocal Instructor, Graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Vocal Opera at the Central Conservatory of Music, with Professor Wang Xianlin, a renowned tenor and associate dean of the Department of Vocal Music at the Central Conservatory of Music, as the mentor. In 2022, earned a Master’s degree in Vocal Opera Performance from the Mannes School of Music in the United States, mentored by the world-famous soprano, Professor Amy Burton. Currently pursuing a Doctorate in Vocal Music at the University of Washington.

Having participated in numerous large-scale musical productions both domestically and internationally, Tianyuan brings a wealth of experience to the stage. In 2016, he took on the role of vocal instructor at the Central Conservatory of Music, also serving as the vocal instructor for the Tiananmen Square National Flag Guard and the Secretary-General of the National Art Song Competition. Additionally, he has served as a judge for several prominent music competitions.

Teacher Tianyuan is known for his passionate and infectious teaching style. Under his guidance, students find their journey in vocal education filled with interest and a profound appreciation for music.

Shi Qing – As a Piano Instructor, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Jiangxi Normal University. In 2022, completed a Master’s degree at Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University. During the academic year 2021-2022, served as the Music Conductor at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. Currently, Shi Qing is also an elementary school music teacher.

With ample patience and enthusiasm, Teacher Shi Qing encourages students to express their individuality and unlock their potential in music education. Serving as a guide, she nurtures the joy of learning and helps students explore the depth of their musical interests.

Dr.Lu Xi – As a Piano Instructor, Lucy Lu has been studying piano with Professor Wang Haibo, a doctoral supervisor at Beijing Normal University, laying a solid foundation in music. In 2014, Lucy enrolled at Syracuse University for a Master’s degree in Piano Performance with a full scholarship, studying under Steinway Artist and Grammy nominee Steven Heyman. In 2019, she pursued another Master’s degree in Collaborative Piano at Arizona State University under the mentorship of renowned artistic director Andrew Campbell. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctorate in Collaborative Piano at the University of Southern Mississippi with a full assistantship, studying under the guidance of young pianist Michael Bunchman. During her time in the United States, Lucy’s teaching experience has covered one-on-one piano instruction, vocal and instrumental accompaniment, orchestral and chamber ensemble performance, as well as piano accompaniment for opera and musical theater rehearsals.

Since 2009, Lucy has embarked on her teaching career, accumulating extensive teaching experience, particularly in preparing students for levels 3-9 of the Central Conservatory of Music Piano Grading Examination and levels 3-10 of the Chinese Musicians Association Piano Grading Examination, achieving a 100% pass rate for her students. With her own passion for singing, she also demonstrates remarkable proficiency in guiding choirs with diverse musical backgrounds, including those with no prior experience. In the United States, she has taught over 30 piano students ranging in age from 5 to 78, including individuals with special needs such as autistic children and Alzheimer’s patients.

Cong Li – As a Piano Instructor, Collaborative pianist Cong Li has forged a versatile career as a soloist, chamber musician, and accompanist, renowned for her steady collaborative skills. In 2018, she notably soloed with the Skidmore College Orchestra during a Bernstein centenary festival, delivering a captivating performance of The Carnival of the Animals. Li’s repertoire extends to various works, including a wide range list of instrumental sonatas and vocal music, showcasing her dedication to exploring diverse musical expressions.

Li holds a Master’s in Music Education from Columbia University, where she further honed her teaching skills, complementing her educational background. She also holds a Master of Music degree in Collaborative Piano from the Boston Conservatory under Professor Jessica Shinn’s guidance

Active in music education and outreach, Li plays recitals for elementary school children, introducing them to the richness of classical and contemporary compositions. Her commitment to broadening musical horizons extends to conducting small lectures to enhance audience understanding after performances.

Kelly Qiu – As a Flute Instructor, she graduated with a Masters of Music Degree in flute performance and a bachelor of music in music performance. Kelly has sixteen years of performance experience (solo, orchestral, chamber). She has performed in the renowned Carnegie Hall in New York as the principal flutist with her orchestra as well as hosting numerous personal recitals. She has also taken master classes with world famous musicians such as Michael Hazel from the Berlin Philharmonic and Donna Shin from University of Washington. Kelly has seven years of extensive teaching experience especially in helping her students with the Abrsm exams as well as auditioning for the Bellevue Youth Symphony orchestra and the Seattle Youth Symphony orchestra. Kelly is a teacher who not only goes beyond her ways to helps her students with their musical development but also cares about their wellbeing as a whole.

Dr. Yiru Li -As a Harp Instructor, Doctor of Musical Arts in Harp. Graduated from the Tianjin Conservatory of Music in China under the tutelage of Prof. Jin Huiping, Associate Prof. Wang Guan, and Ms. Sun Shimeng. She received her Master’s Degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia under the tutelage of Sonja Ingefield, and her Doctorate Degree from the University of Oregon under the tutelage of Rossana Moore. Li, Yirui has been playing music since the age of 3, learning the Guzheng, a traditional Chinese musical instrument. In 2010, she was admitted to Tianjin Conservatory of Music Middle School and began to study harp. In 2014, she was admitted to Tianjin Conservatory of Music, and during her time at the school, she participated in chamber music performances, gave various performances, and set up a private studio to teach guzheng and harp. 2018, she was admitted to State University of New York at Fredonia, where she performed with the Symphony Orchestra. 2021, she was admitted to the University of Oregon and was awarded a full scholarship, and during her time at the university, she participated in teaching assistantships, and taught chamber music. She has been involved in teaching assistantships, chamber music, solo recitals and so on. Collaborated with Orchestra Next, Skagit Symphony and Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Released the Nutcracker album with Orchestra Next. Li, Yirui won the 3rd place in the professional category in Poppy Harp Festival, the 2nd place in the professional category in The Map Competition, the Gold Medal in the professional category in Van Bach International Music Competition, and the 1st place in the professional category in American Music International Competition.
